THE DARING WAY™

About the Daring Way™ Program

The Daring Way™ is an empirically based training and certification program for helping professionals, based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. We offer several curriculums that focus on the topics covered in Brené’s books including courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy. Our methodology is designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders, and it can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings. Our goal is to make the world a more loving and courageous place by helping people learn how to show up, be seen, and live brave. To accomplish this, we rigorously train helping professionals in an effective and empirically based approach to change.

Our Belief is that leaning into vulnerability, practicing courage, and building resilience skills requires that we address thought, emotion, and behavior. This integrated approach is how we help people transform the way they live, love, parent, and lead. We are committed to building a community of wholehearted practitioners who believe in the worthiness of all people and are dedicated to walking with people on some of their most difficult journeys.

To maintain the integrity of our program, our community of professionals have access to peer support, case consultation, the exchange of ideas, and ongoing practice development skills and tools. In addition to therapists and coaches facilitating the work with individuals, couples, and groups, we have physical therapists and clergy integrating this work into their practices; organizational development professionals using it as the foundation for cultural change and individual work with leaders; addiction professionals using it to support recovery work.
